Tenemos el agrado de enviarles el Informe de la actividad portuaria de América Latina y el Caribe 2018, anteriormente conocido como Ranking Portuario, en el que a partir de este año se analizan algunas informaciones adicionales al reporte tradicional.

                                         

Además del análisis del comportamiento de los puertos y zonas portuarias de la región de América Latina y el Caribe durante 2018, también serán presentadas algunas novedades, como el análisis de transbordo y tonelaje, y la comparación con los principales puertos del mundo.

En los adjuntos, están las infografías con los principales 20 puertos con mayor movimiento de carga contenedorizada de la región, el Top 20 en transbordo portuario (en TEU) y el Top 20 por movimiento portuario a nivel de los países.

Aprovechamos también esta oportunidad para comunicar que la página Perfil Marítimo y Logístico de la CEPAL —donde subimos estos datos— está en un proceso de transición y actualización, y que se informará oportunamente cuando estén plenamente disponibles. We are pleased to announce that the Port Activity Report of Latin America and the Caribbean 2018 is out. The report, previously known as Port Ranking, from this year on will bring additional information upon its traditional report.

In addition to the container port analysis of the Latin American and Caribbean region during 2018, some new developments will also be presented, such as transhipment and tonnage analysis.

Please find attached the infographics with the Top 20 throughput ports in the region, the Top 20 ports in transhipment (in TEU) and the Top 20 throughput at the country level.

We also took this opportunity to inform that ECLAC’s Maritime and Logistic Profile page —where we upload this data— is in a process of transition and updating. We will inform when they are fully available. In the meantime, we invite you to review the following links, where the port statistical data of the year of 2018 is disposal.
